Global Health Council and Global Health Magazine are inviting amateur and professional photographers to enter photos that focus on women’s health for their contest, “Women & Girls in a Changing World.” The contest ends April 4, 2011, and winners will be published in both the print and online versions of Global Health Magazine.

The 21st Century School Fund, Critical Exposure and Healthy Schools Campaign present the second annual Through Your Lens photo contest.
Students, teachers and others interested are encouraged to enter this contest to portray United States school buildings through their eyes.

PhotoPhilanthropy 2010 Activist Awards

PhotoPhilanthropy has added a new award for community-based art organizations for this year’s Activist Awards. The new Community Activist Award will offer non-profit organizations that teach photography within a community a chance to compete for one $2,000 reward.
All accepted submissions will be publicized on the PhotoPhilanthropy website and will receive a discount toward Blurb Books. Submissions will be accepted until October 1, 2010.
