Child’s view: Excluded and invisible in Iran

In late 2005 in Iran, 125 Children, including refugees from Afghanistan and Iraq, took part in a UNICEF-supported photography competition on the theme of children who are excluded from full social participation due to causes such as poverty, conflict, AIDS or discrimination. Fifteen-year-old refugee Ameneh Mohammadi titled this image by ‘By studying, we’ll rebuild Afghanistan’. To view the photo essay please CLICK HERE.
