2008 IVSA CONFERENCE | Buenos Aires, Argentina

The 2008 IVSA conference, taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina August 6-8, 2008, is currently accepting abstracts for papers, presentations, films, posters, or videos on the broad theme of “SPACE, TIME and IMAGE.”

Submission deadline: May 15, 2008

Papers -
Scholars, researchers and practitioners of the field wishing to submit a paper are invited to send an abstract of 200-300 words DIRECTLY to panel organizers. The organizers’ e-mail addresses can be found on the detailed list of more than forty panels with specific topics and abstracts that are seeking submissions. Presentations may be made in any of the three conference languages: Portuguese, Spanish or English.

Presentations, Films, Posters, or Videos -
The conference will have space for posters (up to 4 feet by 8 feet) and videos. Videos will be shown in rotation in our main auditorium. Please send abstracts and poster descriptions to Francesco Lapenta (visualsociology@gmail.com) or Eric Margolis (emmargolis@gmail.com).
