Hubbard Presents in the Palisades

Jim Hubbard, an acclaimed documentary photographer who is the Creative Director at Venice Arts, an IPE co-founder, and Adjunct Professor at USC Annenberg, will be presenting on his work participant–produced documentary work with homeless people, most recently in homeless and mentally ill women through a project at Venice Arts, on April 22, 7pm at Corpus Christi School in the Pacific Palisades. Jim will be talking about the concept of photographic empowerment, using illustrations from his own career spanning several decades. He will also be featuring a small selection of photographs from the recently completed Venice Arts’ project Got Caught Up Out There: Photographs by Homeless Women, which will be exhibited at the Venice Arts Gallery in August.
