Invisible Children: The Frontline Tour film screening
September 12, 2011
The non-profit organization Invisible Children is a social, political, and global movement using the transformative power of a story to change lives. Invisible Children uses film, creativity, and social action to end the use of child soldiers in Joseph Kony’s rebel war and restore affected areas (specifically Northern Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo) to peace and prosperity. The student organization Invisible Children at USC works to support the non-profit in achieving these goals.
You can support the organization by attending the Invisible Children: The Frontline Tour film screening on Wednesday, September 28th, at 7 pm in THH 101. Volunteers will be coming to screen a recent Invisible Children film, The Rescue, and afterwards a Ugandan advocate will tell us her own personal story. There will also be the opportunity to buy Invisible Children merchandise and learn more about how to get involved with the cause.
